Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills and be adept at team management, ensuring that all administrative functions run smoothly. This role requires excellent communication abilities and a keen attention to detail, as you will be responsible for maintaining office efficiency and supporting our staff.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage office staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Oversee administrative tasks, ensuring that all clerical duties are performed accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain financial records using QuickBooks, including invoicing and expense tracking.
  • Handle human resources functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and external contacts, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Organise office operations and procedures to enhance productivity and workflow.
  • Manage schedules, appointments, and meetings for the team to ensure optimal time management.
  • Develop and implement office policies to improve operational efficiency.

Experience

  • Proven experience in an office management role or similar administrative position.
  • Strong supervisory skills with a track record of successful team management.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on professional phone etiquette.
  • Familiarity with human resources processes is advantageous but not essential.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
